Free Photoshop Action to Remove Jaggies
If you design scrapbook kits you will LOVE this action!
Jaggies are left over bumps from extractions. An element may look ok like the one below but when you put a stroke around it look at the jaggies–little bumps that will show when a user puts a drop shadow on the element. Photoshop actions can be extremely useful timesavers when you find yourself performing the same steps over and over on an image.
Jaggies are a nightmare. I hate removing them but not I have this neat-o action and it is free. It is a quick and easy way to get rid of jaggie edges on your embellishments. Run the action and quickly smooth jagged edges.
Wilma (creator of the action) deserves a big thank you. She made this remove jaggies action available to download free here. If you know who she is let me know so I can link to her.
Before I got this action I was working on the Marvelous Kit. Look at this element. I was dreading using the pen tool or eraser to go around this entire image to soothe the edges. Uggg.
I ran this action by using the batch option for all the elements in one folder in Photoshop and cleaned up all the jaggies in 26 elements in this kit in seconds instead of hours! So you can see why I’m so excited about this action. After I run this action I still run a quality control action to be sure but this little freebie took care of almost every jaggie.
Thank you Wilma!

Cooool! I can’t wait to try it out! Thank you!!
