Web2.0

Web2.0 is fundamentally driven by shared online activity. It is characterized by social networking, open communication, freedom to share and interactive conversation. Instead of just going ffrom site to site gathering information you interact. (like commenting on blogs). You can read more about Web2.0 at Wikipedia (a Web2.0 service).

The following are some Web2.0 resources we are using:

LibraryThing.com
Heart of Wisdom Group at LibraryThing.com
: We started a Heart of Wisdom group at LibraryThing.com. It basically lets you catalog the books you own, and it can do such things as recommend other books you might like or help you find other people who like the same books that you do. If you are a member jclick on the groups tab and join us. If you are not a Librarything member and you love books you should join (its free for up to 200 books). Don't forget to write reviews for Heart of Wisdom books! You'll be helping HOW.

Del.icio.us Network
Del.icio.us is a social bookmarking service. It can be of great cvalue to homeschoolers. The del.icio.us network connects you to other del.icio.us users — friends, family, even new people you run across while exploring del.icio.us. You can add people to your network and keep track of their latest bookmarks right here. And when you save new bookmarks, you can share them with people in your network simply by clicking on a username.
