G-Free Roasted Cauliflower Recipe

This is a Gluten Free Recipe

Roasting is an easy way to prepare delicious and nutrient rich vegetable dishes adding wonderful flavors to dishes without a lot of fat and calories.

The process of roasting brings out the natural sweetness in vegetables and intensifies the natural flavors.

Try roasting  carrots, onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, eggplant, and cauliflower.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower cut into florets
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • Lemon juice (from 1/2 or a whole lemon)
  • 2 T Olive oil
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Put cauliflower pieces, garlic, lemon juice,  olive oil in a bowl and toss lightly.Add an Image
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place coated cauliflower pieces on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is lightly brown.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Serve immediately.
