Those apps are great and I just may have to see about getting them for my iPod touch as well. I have found one that works well for me and I think that would make a great WFMW in a couple of weeks – since next week is going to be about back to school.
Awesome post! I have just started menu planning, with the help of http://eatathomecooks.com (a fellow homeschooler). I love the whiteboard idea and will start that immediately. And, thanks for the app, I’m going to add it to my iTouch.
I have a hard time finding the time to come up with fun menus so I subscribe to a weekly newsletter that gives me recipes, tips and a shopping list. All the recipes are seasonal and constantly vary.

A grocery list app I love, on my ipod and iphone, is Shopper (I use the Lite – free – version.) It may or may not work for the way your do things, but it is great for everything organized by aisles. Most things already in there, you just have to click to add them to the list. But you can add your own things too. You can also add prices, and as you put things in your cart, check them off, and it will add them up. I can make master lists, of the usual things I buy. And it can check my local stores for ads prices (well, if I lived in a place that had more than 1 store, that had ads.) Anyhow, thought you might like to check it out.

I spent years steeped in shame, seeking acceptance in religion. See My Story Masked to Truefaced. The audio teachings below opened my eyes, freed me from shame, and allowed me to accept merciful God’s grace and love. Theologian Baxter Kruger has been teaching on the “Dancing Trinity” (Perichoresis) topic for years. A friend sent him […]
We moved to a mini farm about 5 years ago because I wanted my boys to experience farm life. They have learning so much caring for animals (horses, goats, chickens) and having a vegetable garden. (While I learn patience from lousy Internet connection). If you can’t move to a farm the second best thing would be […]

The economy really hit the homeschool market hard. I had to some quick thinking to keep heart of Wisdom a float.
