Great website…and cool article man…thanx for the great post…keep on posting such article… for which I really owe a debt of gratitude to my mother and father, who not only guided me financially through my first credit card transaction, but also helped pay for my college tuition and generally kept me on the right path monetarily.

I first learned of cheese with apple pie when I waited tables at a Steak & Ale in college. One of the waitresses used to melt cheddar cheese on the slice of pie. I thought it was disgusting until she let me taste it. I’ve been a fan ever since.

Hi Robin,
LOL, I love this post. When I was a young bride and my DH was in seminary, I was introduced to this idea. At first I thought: “what a crazy idea!” I personally like ice cream on mine. However, here lately I have discovered the benefits of it (as I age) the protein in the cheese helps process all of the sugar in the pie.

I grew up in Nashville, TN and that was the only way we had apple pie. We got it every week at the Woolworth’s lunch counter.

Apples and cheese, grapes and cheese, both of these are scrumptious snacks! Just added cheddar to my shopping list so we can enjoy some with the apples we picked recently. Thanks for the reminder.
