Vinegar is an amazing cleaning product–I recently had to stop using it though due to severe allergies to vinegar in our home (both my husband and daughter.) Oh well. Peroxide and baking soda both cover a lot of the bases though.
Thanks for visiting Miller Manor today! I use vinegar a lot for cleaning. It is a green, cheap, healthy and effective cleaner. Great post, with lots of ideas I had never thought of. TM
I just bought a bottle of vinegar the other day to try it as a cleaner, and I was planning on searching for a list of it’s many uses, and as luck would have it you just posted on it. Now I don’t have to do a search. Thanks for posting on this.
I love to use vinegar. This post makes a good reference for me to come back to. You mentioned a few I didn’t know about. I also love to clean with baking soda. Thank you for posting!
I’ve actually been thinking about implementing the same practices in my home and residential cleaning business. Great thoughts and thank you for the helpful information.

I’ve been using vinegar and water for everything when it comes to cleaning, except for my hardwood floor. I wasn’t aware vinegar could be allergic though.

You might try cleaning gym suits this way. Pour full strength white vinegar in the underarm areas of the suit and let sit for an hour or more. Wash as usual.
Actually I had to do this twice for my daughter’s and her friend’s gym suits. They were the most rancid things I ever saw (smelled). Thought I was going to have to put on a gas mask. How girls could let their suits get in this shape I’ll never know.
You ought to seriously think about building up this website into a dominant authority in this market. You obviously have a good knowledge of the topics everyone is looking for on this website anyways and you could potentially even earn a dollar or two off of some advertising. I would dive into following recent topics and raising the amount of write ups you make and I bet you’d begin getting some good traffic in the near future. Just a thought, good luck in whatever you do!
Nice write-up. I visit this site regularly. Thanks for the article posting. I sent the link to this page to a few people that I know that have an interest in reading this. Thanks.
Some time back, my sweet, health-conscious friend, Dolores, told me about the benefits of coconut oil. I bought a jar and put in on my shelf until I had time to find recipes to use it in. Then when my boys and I were sick (Maybe strep throat) and I looked up natural cures on […]
I am reading Larry Crabb’s magnum opus, 66 Love Letters: A Conversation with God That Invites You into His Story. So far I really like it. Crabb that takes you through each book of the Bible giving his opinion as to what message he believes God is trying to get across in each book. It is written as a […]
I encourage homeschoolers to have a daily Bible time and to try to read the Bible through in a year or two. But this is not the goal. The Pharisees read the Bible daily and memorized large portions it, but when the Lamb of God stood right in front of them they didn’t recognize Him. […]
Jesus shared the Passover meal with his apostles saying, “I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins. For I tell you now that I won’t eat this meal again until its meaning is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.” (Luke 22:15-16) […]

This is a photo of our Passover plate. It has a prominent place of display in a glass cabinet in our living room.I believe it is the one item in our home that the children will remember the most. It is my favorite holiday. Passover is April 7-14 this year. The Passover meal is called […]
Filmmaker and writer Terry Jones discovered a colony of penguins which are unlike any other penguins in the world. Ostensibly filmed for a documentary, the video shows a colony of Adélie penguins suddenly taking to the skies as the astonished presenter, Terry Jones, looks on. The TV spot was filmed on King George’s Island, 1,000 […]

We use it all the time for hardwood floors. Brews is better but vinegar and water won’t damage floors either, just make sure mop is damp.
