I have a huge stash of yarn, I crochet, and I use the largest Ziploc bags to store my yarn separated by color or material or use (I keep all my Christmas yarns together because I crochet a LOT of Christmas things.) I also store seasonal clothes in the Ziploc bags, I use a lot of these bags, also use the 2 gal bags to use works in progress.

I don't use Ziplock bags much for food but I do agree that they're fabulous for organizing. When we travel, I will pack my daughter's clothes in Ziplock bags an outfit (underwear on out) or two at a time and then squeeze out the excess air. This lets me put some clothes in our carry on, an outfit in her backpack and some clothes in our checked bag and we always have what we need and it isn't covered with whatever else was in the bag with it.

MomOnTheGo's last blog post..Milestone my What to Expect book seemed to miss

Great post! The best way to organize all those receipts once you have them in the Ziploc bag is through Shoeboxed, the premier receipt organization service on the Internet. You can even mail your receipts to our offices, we will scan them and upload them into your secure Shoeboxed account, and then we'll mail them back.

This is the best way to organize receipts; find out more at www.shoeboxed.com.

Thanks!

I live for Ziploc bags. I use them in my camera bag. Photographers are constantly losing the little pieces of whatever that they absolutely need while away from the house. Ziplocs keep everything together, and I color-code them to make stuff easier to find as I rifle through the bag and try to not miss a shot.

Thanks for the suggestion - and for visiting my blog earlier today!
