NEW “Name My New Blog” Contest

I’m having so much fun giving away gifts I decided to have another blog contest.

I am starting a new blog for the New Year. I want to keep the Heart of Wisdom blog focused on encouragement, Bible study, and homeschooling. There are times when I want to share something going on in our home but don’t feel it’s appropriate here. For instance, last week we had a birthday party for my grandson and it took everything in me not to bore you guys with dozens of photos.

The new blog will be somewhat of a homemaker’s Journal. It will include more personal daily things like family, grandchildren, our horses and dogs, health (and heart) issues, organizational ideas, recipes, large family tips, etc.

I need help naming the new blog… There will be two winners! Enter as many times as you like.

First place: If you choose the name you can have your choice of one of my publications. I’m going to assume you already have several
Second place will win a Heart of Wisdom Ebook. I will have a random drawing from the comments.

To Enter: Super easy, leave a comment below with a name suggestion. I will choose the two winners on January 15.

Need some ideas? Here are a few names I like but are taken: Laced with Grace, A Pondering Heart, Titus 2, Home Maker’s Journal, Heart of the Matter. I would like something inferring it is by a Christian woman. (I can always add a subtitle to clarify). Can’t wait to see your ideas. Pray and comment. Thanks for the help.

Oh, I love choosing names…I’m not all that creative with it but it’s so much fun. What if we think of more than one…can we come back and add more (yet only entering the contest once)?

I haven’t had much chance to ponder yet but my initial thought was something whereby I took heart from HOW yet incporporated the home.

Jocelyn told me that you left a comment on her blog about her url. She was really disappointed when the one she originally wanted was taken, and A Pondering Heart just suits her so.
You do know that Jocelyn and Amanda are my daughters, right? I was sure you did, but she said she didn’t think you remembered.
This contest is a fun idea! I understand wanting to blog family stuff and other stuff on two separate blogs. It sure is a lot of work to keep up on two blogs though.
We got our own domain, and I am considering if I want to have just one blog and blog it all on there.
Anyway, here are some ideas I had. Regardless of what you choose, I know you fill follow God’s directed path in your blogging. That is most important… that and journaling our life’s moments.

These are some great ideas. So far Heart at Home and Robin’s Nest are my top picks.

My Grandparents raised me for several years on a lake. They wrote “Robin’s Roost” in the sidewalk near the boat dock. So I’m considering Robin’s Roost too.
