Good morning, Robin. I always appreciate you sharing things. I was straining for the light greatly this morning. He is so quick to meet me and give His full illumination. In reading this testimony/lesson, I had the sense of the scripture that there is NO darkness in Him. I rest in that today.

I had some massage this week to break up some tightness around a joint where a cervical/neck disc herniated two years ago. I knew that I'd have more pain after the massage but that it had to be done. Unfortunately, all the fears come along with that pain as it often involves a nerve that radiates down my arm.

But the Lord is able to keep me from stumbling in the darkness and able to present me faultless with great joy!

He is healing me and breaking up the darkness that has settled in. And though pain comes momentarily, there is a weight of gold of far more worth being drawn from me!

Amen!

Agreeing with P. Thank you for sharing this wonderful object lesson. I too don't want you to suffer any more pain. Love your walk with God. It points me to the truth and out of darkness.

Who would've thought two broken ribs could produce such a beautiful object lesson? However, I'm praying the next one comes out of something other than physical pain for you, dear ((Robin)) (<-gentle hug). Hire that farmhand!;)

Psa. 18:28 For You light my lamp;
	            The LORD my God illumines my darkness.

This is such a great lesson! Jesus is my light! I have walked in darkness before, forgetting to cry out to my God, and that experience has left me clinging to the the light now. Thank you for the reminder that we need to remain in relationship with Him in order to walk in the light.

Great analogy! Last year I read "Just Enough Light For The Step Im On" by Stormie Omartian. VERY good! The lamps they used back in biblical times gave off very little light...forcing one to really focus on that light!

Thanks for the reminder & encouragement!
