It looks at that file as an entire book. When I put the book into the music folder I cannot know where I am, rewind or fast forward easily, it doesnt work very well at all. Any suggestions? Some newer car audio systems have a variety of plug-in ports that allow you to run an external device through the sound system. In this case there would be a jack that would plug into the audio out (where you would plug in headphones) of your Kindle into your car's stereo system. Then when you play the Kindle, the sound will run through your car's speakers. Alternatively, if your car has a casette tape player, you can buy a small adapter that looks like a casette tape with an audio plug running out of it. You insert the tape into your car's tape player, turn on the tape player, then insert the audio plug into the audio out (headphone) port on your Kindle. Once again, the sound will run through your car's speakers. You can do this with any kind of external device, such as MP3 players, CD players, etc. You can easily play your Kindle through your car’s sound system.
