Doesn’t it say in John He comes after me,but is not second place to me, who’s sandal strap i am not worthy to loose? This was the man chosen by God to prepare the way, lived a life for God and single purpose was to serve God. Psalm 111 says He paid the ransom for his people, He ordered his Covenant kept forever. He’s so personal and holy, worthy of our respect.in other words my understanding is that he is worthy but we are not worthy of his. He chooses to love us unconditionally. Please I am open to any comments or corrections in this matter. I am a leader of a life group and wish to study this topic so any input you have would be added to my study. Thanks for everything, Gods favored.

This was such a blessing. I read Oprah's speech on her final show and the comment about feeling unworthy and blocking our own blessings in life because of that got my attention. I was doing that in my life. The solution she gave me did not convince me. I googled "How do I learn from the bible to feeel worthy?" One of the results was your blog post on worthiness. Thank you for this post. You have blessed me immensely by it. God bless you.

Hi Robin,
We've been connected via Twitter for a while but I haven't visited your site for sometime. But how good God is! Let me explain.

Yesterday I went to visit a friend's secular book group. I've been leading one for our church for a couple of years, and wanted to know how others work (Incidentally, I've just started an online book club, inviting people to comment). My friend introduced me to the other members of the group as a published author and, of course, they wanted to know all about my books - information which I gladly imparted because my mantra is to inform, inspire and encourage (from the Corinthians verses: comforting others with the comfort with which I've been comforted).

However, I was woken during the night (my neighbour has a faulty light which disturbs me) and because of low self-esteem which began in childhood (with which I've battled and won the victory) I found myself lying in bed thinking in those dark hours before dawn 'who do you think you're kidding?' It went on and on and on.

I know it's the Enemy taking advantage of those vulnerable hours and speaking lies to me, but it's enervating nonetheless. However, this morning, whilst in the throes of revising some of my earlier articles, I came across a link to your website. Naturally, I wanted to check that it still worked and, guess what, the first of your featured articles that I came across was this one on feeling worthy. PTL - he knows my thoughts and needs before I know them myself. So thank you for being part of that. Great to think that one day we'll be in Glory together . . . Now there's a thought!

Amen sister! This is an amazing post. I was told so many times growing up by my earthly father that I was a mistake and a failure and unwanted & unworthy that it has been a struggle to truly let God's True Love wash over me. I am learning (slower than I would like sometimes) to find my Worth in Christ and Him alone. Thank you for sharing your heart. I love to read your posts. :-)

God Bless,
KC @ Lil Momma's Haven
