If you homeschool or not our lives are fast paced and so easy to leave out important things.

We remember to give our children’s vitamins, buy them sneakers, teach them history lessons, make them practice math, set bedtimes, remind them to brush their teeth and hair, mind their manners, but do we forget the most important thing?

Proverbs 22:6 says Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

We teach our children how much God loves them by example–fulfilling the greatest commands loving God and others. And by reading the stories from God’s Word teaching them to respect God and learn of His ways.

Put the most important thing first each day–read God’s Word to your children daily. Purpose not to teach any other subject until you have spend time asking God direction and spent time in His Word.
