Five Blog Links for Spiritual Growth and Encouragement

The Super Simple Spiritual Sunday Meme is simply a list of encouraging links. I’m recovering from surgery and haven’t been able to read much so I’m posting audio links that I enjoyed this week:

2. Living Between the Resurrections by Dwight Pryor
3. Habakkuk: Moving from Fear to Faith by Nancy Leigh DeMoss
4. Life’s Trials Explained by Charles Stanley
   
5. The Happiness of God: Foundation for Christian Hedonism by John Piper

These all may seem like unrelated studies but I felt that they each shed light on each other. What I thought were separate studies on dying to self, sanctification, and the difference between Calvinism and Arminianism (Augustinianism and Pelagianism) helped me see Romans 8 more clearly. These concepts (death to self and living in Christ) are key to living a fulfilled Christian life and producing fruit of the Spirit.

That I may know Him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.” Phil.3:10
