Should Be Required Reading
The required reading list in middle and high public school ranges from Edgar Allen Poe stories, to Tuck Everlasting and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. These are NOT classics I allow my children to read.
I’d like to share book I think every Christian family should read together for inspiration. Below is the audio link and two book choices.

Robin thanks for the required reading. I think exposing children of all ages to the truth that man and women have and do suffer for the faith is important.
These are the stories they will never see in the present day media!
I have added the biographies of these amazing saints (like Hudson Taylor, David Livingstone, Gladys Alward and others) to our everyday reading along with our Bible.
The kids love it! We are presently reading The Narrow Road : Stories of Those Who Walk This Road Together. The children relate to Brother Andrews stories of his childhood.
