Prayer Request for Robin

Hi all,

This is Robin’s friend, Kathleen, writing to let you all know that Robin was admitted to the Critical Care Unit of the hospital Monday, August 24 and needs our prayers.  She lost quite a bit of blood due which then led to serious heart problems.

She lost almost five units of blood and has been given two units so far to replenish her supply.  Now the doctors are waiting to see if that will be enough and if her own body is producing blood on its own.

Those of you who have been following Robin’s blog for a while know that Robin has had open-heart surgery in the past and needs to be very careful regarding her physical condition.  Please pray that God would give wisdom to all the doctors involved as to her treatment. Also pray for Robin and her husband, Ron, that they would be able to process the information and recommendations from the doctors and make wise decisions regarding her treatment as well.

As you know, Robin is a very cheerful, upbeat lady.  She’s fairly confident that this hospitalization will be of short duration and that she will be home very soon.  Let’s all join her in that confidence and trust God for a quick recovery.
