Organize Your Web Surfing with Evernote
So much information, so little time! Wouldn’t it be great to have an external brain to hook up just like you hook up external memory to your computer? Now you can.
Evernote is insanely useful!
This is extremely valuable to organize homeschool information. Ever find a great worksheet otr template only to forgot the name you bookmarked it under? Now you can categorize and remember: free worksheets, lapbooks, educational videos for a thematic unit, like minded homeschoolers, curriculua, etc.
Easy to organize recipes, shopping lists, to do list, free planners, etc. You can search, plan, share, tag and much more!
Try it yourself its free and easy.
Thank you to 1plus1plus1equals1.com for sharing Evernote. I found this information on her post at Behinds the Scenes ~ Blog /Web Surfing, Organizing Ideas
- You can use Evernote on a PC, Mac, Iphone, Blackberry, and more.
- Chances are, if you can see it or think of it, Evernote can help you remember it. Type a text note. Clip a web page. Snap a photo. Grab a screenshot. Evernote will keep it all safe.
- Everything you capture is automatically processed, indexed, and made searchable. If you like, you can add tags or organize notes into different notebooks.
- Search for notes by keywords, titles, and tags. Evernote magically makes printed and handwritten text inside your images searchable, too.
The videos below show a few ways people use Evernote.

I tried Evernote a few months back. I may be stuck in my old ways, but I like One Note, and already had it. Evernote seemed to limit what I could add size wise.
Great resources and ideas though. Thanks for sharing!

I was very sad when the Sandy tool went down. I wonder if Evernote could be a good substitute?

Hi,
Want to share your lists of links to templates with other home schoolers? Than you should use KartMe instead.
KartMe is free-er, lightweight, social version of evernote. It’s mobile app was an Apple “staff pick”.
You can try it at http://kartme.com
Here is one members lists: http://kartme.com/elastic_jeans
KartMe also tracks prices for your books, saving you not only time but also money.
Biased,
Phil
