Robin,
I am so glad you are ok! Your story brought back an event that happened to me several years ago. I was at a ladies retreat, and although the Lord was leading me to go to a certain session, I wanted to go on a trail ride instead. Well, the horse I got was named "Tiny" but that was obviously a joke. He knew right away that he was boss. He gave me fits at every turn and I was getting really worried about his strong-headedness. He started causing a lot of trouble and he ended up bolting back to the corral, on the way going right through a traffic area and then he tried to brush me off on a huge pine tree. I had an older (solid) camera around my neck, and it bruised my arms and chest from his wild ride. Not to mention the enormous bruises on my legs from the saddle. I was a mess! After finally getting off (and feeling like jelly, I was a wreck) I went and rested and got in the hot tub. After that I went to the evening session and had been praying, Lord, what is so important for you to teach me that you practially had to kill me to get my attention? At that moment, the speaker said that God has "Unbridled Love" for us, and He wants us to know that nothing can get in the way of that! I nearly fell over when I heard it. LOL!

Anyway, He is so good to give us lessons in whatever situation we get ourselves in. I still have a fear of horses, but I will forever trust in the Lord, no matter what.

Blessings!

Praising the Lord for your survival! Thanking Him for the foot dash and stability you did not know the cart had. Glad your grandchildren now know why rules cannot be broken and arguments can cause physical harm.

So glad you are Good!

Because of Jesus, Bobbie

I totally feel your right/left dilemma. If I'm not wearing my watch I get totally confused!

As for the object lesson - I needed that. I'm just glad I got to hear it from YOUR experience instead of my own.

It's not enough to just HEAR the word, but I have to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me.

Thanks!
