God is sooo good to us. But one of the things that He's helped me to understand is that I needed to stop thinking that I am not worthy of His goodness. It's akin to a slap in the face to Him. If He thought that I was unworthy, He wouldv'e never came and died for my sins nor my healing. His love is so awesome and indiscribable.

Just watched the video. I haven't heard that song in years...LOVE it! What a great (scriptural) reminder of what God does with our sin when we confess it to Him.

Father, help those of us who have been forgiven much, love/forgive even more so...

Luke 7:47 "Because of this, I tell you that her sins — which are many! — have been forgiven, because she loved much. But someone who has been forgiven only a little loves only a little.”

Robin,
What a nice post of encouragement.

"I continue to learn to turn off the voice of condemnation, listen for the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and the joy of resting in Him."

Perfect timing for me to come here this evening and read this post. I know of this but sometimes i need to be reminded of it, This is a battle I have been fighting for years now. To focus on Him and sit at His feet when those voices of condemnation come around.

We serve an awesome God!
Blessings,
katia

While I am in constant awe of the love my God has for me, I still struggle at times with why He would love me? It brings me to the feet of my master in worship everytime I think about it. We are so washed with the worlds message of earning our worth that we have a hard time understanding how someone can love as deeply as God does without us earning it. What an awesome God we serve! He doesn't need me - but He created me & loves me beyond my comprehension.
Thanks Robin for your excellent encouragement today!
