Yeshua in the Garden of Gethsemane is confronted by a group of Temple Priests wanting to take him captive. Peter jumps up and cuts off the ear of one of the Temple Priests. – WHY did Yeshua heal him? We might thing, if this Temple Priest is injured, they’d have a better chance to get away.. but – Yeshua healed him.. WHY? Because a mutilated man can no longer serve as a Temple Priest, and Yeshua wanted the earthly Priesthood to continue – he wanted that man to be able to return to his work in the Temple, offering sacrifices.

“Often we ask “How can I know God’s will for me?”” The Old Testament is made up of two basic parts – (well three, but sit with me a minute) – The Torah and The Haftarah – We sometimes call the Torah – the Pentetuch or the Septuiguint – the rest of the Old Testament is called the Haftarah – it’s made up of the Histories, the Psalms and The Prophets.

The Torah is God’s will for us. The Haftarah is showing us what happens when God’s people do – or don’t – live according to His will. The book of Judges is a book which cycles over and over the people living His will, then falling away, then being disciplined for it, then Repenting, then being Restored.. and then falling away again.

When we say we want to know God’s Will for our lives, we need to go look and find out what Righteous living looks like. It’s in the Torah – from the point where Moses has lead the people to Mt. Sinai.. and on through to the end of Deuteronomy.

But what of the New Testament? The New Testament is almost ALL – commentary on how to live out the Torah. It’s evidence that Yeshua IS the Messiah – in how HE exemplifies the Torah in his very being, and then commentaries on how we as His People are to live it out.

And now.. for my sharing in living out God’s word in obedience and faith.. and the blessing there of.

I choose to birth unassisted. I choose to be like the women of old, who had no one to assist them. Though I choose this, I still have the benefit of today’s medical knowledge. I have had extremely high blood pressure in my last two births, and that, even on modern medicine. Modern Medicine was not able to overcome my hypertension. In my daughter’s birth, I went ahead and birthed unassisted knowing full well I could be in serious danger. I trusted that He was giving me peace about it all, He would take care of me. In my last son’s birth, I could not find a Medical Dr to help me with my hypertension, and ended up being coerced into a medicalized birth. The birth was fine, but my mind was not.. and they still could not help my Hypertension.

So here I am pregnant again. Actually, I’ve been pregnant 6 times in the last 14 months – those 5 other pregnancies resulted in babies who didn’t make it past 7-8 weeks. The last one, in September… nearly made me not trust God with my fertility anymore, I was going to quit having babies. But instead, I read a book about healing, and decided to trust God and PRAY FOR HEALING!! I prayed and prayed and prayed.. Then I got pregnant again, but I had been inspired to make some changes. God has provided everything we need for good health and healing right here on this earth. I have kept my blood pressure within normal ranges now for the last 19 weeks – all with vitamins and minerals and a few minor herbs. God HAS PROVIDED MY HEALING.

Now to back track a touch, after my daughter was born, my BP skyrocketed to 234/142. God gave me a dream that was an unmistakable warning. I did end up going to hospital 14 days after my daughter was born, to get medicine to bring my BP down. That dream was a direct communication from God to me.. for I was not praying for help at the time. After my last son was born in hospital.. the next day my BP was 217/103 – again medicine was given to me to bring it down.. medicine they couldn’t give me while I was pregnant.

Now I don’t need medicine. My body is working properly because I’m feeding it what it needs to be working as He designed it. He has Healed Me!
