My husband has also had Crohn's since he was 18, now 48. He has done all the drugs, had all the side effects -latest was also Remicade. Some things made life a little bareable others didn't help. Then in August God gave him the strength to try eating Gluten Free. It has been a miracle. As long as he eats NO gluten, he is almost totally free of Crohn's symptoms. His Celiac test was negative, but he obviously can't eat gluten. I would really encourage you to try eating that way(celiac diet) for a month and see if it helps your Crohn's. Now we just have to figure out what helps arthritis, which is a consequence of all the steroids he took for the crohn's. My prayers are with you.
