Controversy Over Logic Post

There’s a friendly conflict (dispute, difference of opinion) going on in the comment section of “Should a Christian Homeschooler Teach Logic.”Rather than repost I’m adding my views to the comments section.
Please jump in to express your opinion, pro or con. Things like this can get heated, so please be polite and focus on learning. This should be interesting!
So as not to distract from the issues at hand, or that someone would be swayed in their views simply because of seeming hostility on anyones part, I have rephrased the section of my response that you were referring to.

I feel this is not a black and white question, if someone wants to teach logic he probably should do it.
I’ve posted my thoughts in the comments.
