Biggest Full Moon Display in 15 Years
Tonight, Saturday January 10, 2008 will be the moon’s biggest and brightest display in the Northern Hemisphere in 15 years.
The moon orbit each month, and right now is near perigee (the closest point to the Earth) making it appear 14 percent bigger in our sky and 30 percent brighter than some other full moons during 2009.
The moon shines by the light of the sun, and has no light of its own is our reminder that church reflects the light of Christ and has no light of its own.
“Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.” Job 25:5
