I can't believe what they allow in schools. They call this tolerance? If we tell them that our beliefs forbid such behavior what would they tell us? "You have the wrong beliefs." This is so horrible. It disgusts me. It especially disgusts me how they are teaching the very young this. UGH!

I am shaking my head as I write this. This cannot surprise any Californians. My husband and I just left California one year ago. This is who Californians voted in as governor. He has been a threat to the covenant marriage and family protection rights for awhile. And he is actively leading the State to condone immorality within the society. Look out! I have personally written and called various political leaders and the governor's office many times while a resident. Our hearts ache for our families and friends and other Christian conservatives that are prayerfully riding out these tough times, praying for a culture change, and praying for bold conservative Christian voters and leaders to rise up and take charge. Let this be a lesson to all of us, no matter where we are, to keep our leaders, our nation, states, and communities lifted up in prayer and boldy vote, vote, VOTE! Thank you for posting, Robin!

Robin,
This comment is not about your post. Sorry, I will catch up this afternoon!!! But I wanted to let you know I had used your dynamic statement again that blessed my heart/life in countless ways since you said it. I gave a plug for you on it so you may get more hits about that statement. You are in inspiration! If you want to "see" where it is, go to my post from Wednesday called "Miracles". I apologize for it's length....but not for sharing all that God did!!! AND I still probably left something important out!!!
Love in Christ!

Come now... Let us look at reality... The public school system wants control. They want the parents out of it, and they want control. They also want our money. Period.
Gov. Swarzenneger is probably looking at the upcoming election year... do you think he likes what he is looking at for Republicans?? No. He wants to be politically correct.
Considering what the NEA thinks of homeschoolers... I do not doubt this at all. There is a petition link in my post on HWTB to read what the NEA wants to legislate... this is the tip of the iceberg... they want your money and your life. And your children. Period.

Hi,
I don't see it as much as conspiracy but as observing history and the decline of social and moral values throughout society.

I cannot understand or see (and I'm not trying to be argumentative here) how one cannot see the decline of morals within schools and society. It's there. It's quite plain. There is an enemy that seeks to devour this next generation. If that is conspiracy, then call it 'whatyouwill' but to me, it is there, it is real and it exists. I believe that the enemy will bombard and indoctrinate our children. It's our responsibility to see that he doesn't.

All news is biased. It depends on who is reporting and what they believe and this affects the delivery of a story. In my mind, it all comes down to a person's world view.

Angela, do you have a link to the actual bill?

:)

Regards,
Susan

Eek! I just read my inbox and saw this article from SourceDaily. It's more of the same. Our poor children of today are being totally and overwhelmingly bombarded and indoctrinated.

I know! How horrid is this? I saw this article yesterday and another similar one. I posted them to our local Aussie forum. Often Australia is about 8-15 yrs behind the US in many things so I don't see it too long before similar things are passed here.

Oh, btw Robin, I tried to access this post from another post. I tried to click on the left sidebar, under the tab, "Last Posts" but it said it couldn't be found. No probs, I went to the main blog page and accessed it from there but I just thought you might like to know. It doesn't bother me but another person who may not be very web savvy might be confused by it.
