My Kindle broke so I've been reading the books on my iPhone. I love it. No need for a book light at night and I always have my phone with me so I can read anywhere.

Hi Robin,

Like the product, but I am sure it will still carry the same problems as books for me - I find it really hard reading books - I managed to read Stephen King's 'The Dark Half' but ironically, I kept falling asleep whilst reading 'Insomnia' lol

On the Flip-Side, I find work and technical related documents fine - its like my brain doesn't seem to care about fiction!

Oh well.. ;)

Micheal, Yes,you can hold it comfortably at different angles. I read in bed and in a recliner, on my side or back. There is no problem with the viewing at any angle--just like a book.

I added a strip of Velcro to the back of mine to make the cover super secure. There is an elastic band around the cover and I slip my hand into it. I'm actually more comfortable with the Kindle than a book now.

I don't take it into the bath tub.

Robin, I've been reading all the hype on the Kindle and going back and forth on buying one. Here's why I'm waiting (besides it being $399):

I like reading real books where I can change the angle of the book I'm holding and still be able to read my book. It's silly, but that's what concerns me about the Kindle... will I be able to hold it comfortably at different angles and still read it?

For instance, one of my favorite authors is Max Lucado. I tend to pick up his books and not put them down until I get to the end. While reading, I have to get into all different kinds of positions (e.g. in the chair, at the table, on my back, on the side, etc) to be able to keep reading. Will I be able to read my Max Lucado books all the way through?

I know that sounds dumb!

Michael's last blog post..No Nonsacred Moments by Max Lucado
