Thank you for a wonderful post. We DO have SO much to be grateful for, and we forget most of it! We should be living our lives in thanksgiving everyday...but so often we don't. How that must grieve our Father. As our family met and feasted, we also remembered those who died to allow us the freedoms we enjoy, our family members too far to join us, and the blessings our pets give us. This became more poignant today as my Dad's and my BIL's dogs both died today. The sorrow they both feel is heart rending. But knowing the joy those two pups gave those two men, fills my heart with thanksgiving for the lives of those silly dogs. How good our Abba is to provide each of us not only with our needs, but with joys we often don't recognize until they're gone.
I wish you and yours all the best not only on this special day, but each day of the rest of this year and the next. Shalom, Joie
