The Hebrew Yeshua vs. the Greek Jesus

December 05, 2009 | admin | Comments 6

This video explains  the Hebrew perspective of our Messiah, by using His Hebrew name. It’s fine to use the modern English name Jesus as well. The name Jesus is the modern English translation from the Greek Iesous, which comes from the Hebrew name Yeshua.

Seekerofyhwh says he likes to use the name of Jesus, and grew up with using that name. Now, he prefers to use the name Yeshua (His hebrew name) in order to show that He was a Jew who kept torah and to help people understand the Hebrew perspective about who He was.
