After listening to the above video by D. Pryor, I feel I need to really study into this to understand it. I always thought that the 24 hour day was based on creation days as in Genesis from sunset to sunset. What day is Dwight Pryor suggesting Jesus rose on anyway?

I have listened to D Pryor on other topics before. I am afraid I have to disagree with him here. I believe that Yeshua was dead/in the grave for 3 full 24 hour periods.

When you start down this slippery slope of allegorizing hard to understand passages in Scripture you might as well just chuck out the whole book and become a Earth worshiper.

He was put into the grave on Wed evening and rose after the end of Shabbat.
