Passover, the first festival of the biblical liturgical calendar, is fundamental to both Judaism and Christianity, for both faiths are founded on historical events that occurred on this day. Because it speaks to both Judaism and Christianity of God’s redemption, the Passover links Jews and Christians in a commonality of faith that is indissoluble.

Passover Reveals Christ
Several symbolic clues during Passover are fulfilled in Christ. John the Baptist introduced Jesus by saying, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." (John 1:29). The Jews had been celebrating Passover for 1,500 years. They understood the significance of John's statements.

What to Do In Springtime?
But too many of us can’t see the need. Everything is going well just the way it is. Why do we need to let God deal with our fleshly desires, since He seems to be blessing us in spite of them? Why do we need daily time in the Word since God seems to be speaking to us everywhere we turn?
