Reasons People May Not Choose HOW
We realize that our Christian
literature-based program may not be for everyone. To help with that
decision, we offer the information below.
Someone may not want to use Heart of Wisdom materials if they
- Want a non-religious program. All of our lessons are Bible-focused.
There is no way to leave off part of a lesson and not see God in our
studies. Click here to read our Statement of Faith.
- Prefer self-teaching programs and want minimal interaction
with their children. Heart of Wisdom users are involved and learn as
much as the children in our lessons. Click to read about the Four-Step Lessons.
- Prefer a traditional classroom-type environment, with quizzes, tests and grading.
- Depend on man's standards, structures, and schedules. We
recommend and encourage following the Holy Spirit and the children's
delights. Click to read about Delight-Directed Learning.
- Want to study American history every year. We don't. Click to view our Scope and Sequence.
- Want to focus on the Greek classics of "Great Books." We don't. Click here to view our definition of classics.
- Want to physically see materials before buying. We don't go to curriculum fairs, but we provide free sample lessons online.
- Prefer making a minimum time commitment to schooling.
- Want or need telephone support. Click here to read what we offer instead.
- Prefer a fill-in-the-blanks workbook approach.
